Introduction
The Network Capture feature allows you to record network traffic directly from your media player's settings menu. This feature simplifies the troubleshooting process by enabling you to do it directly on the media player without requiring external tools.
Prerequisites
This article assumes your H200 is already set up, configured, and running version 25.6.2610.6R or later.
- You need a USB drive to save the recording files.
- The USB drive must be formatted as exFAT or FAT32.
- Make sure the USB drive has at least 10 MB of free space.
Summary
To record network traffic on your device, follow the steps below:
- Plug your USB drive into the media player.
- Go to Settings > System > Developer Options > Network Capture > Start Capture.
Choose one of the Recommended Capture Presets based on what you need to record:
If you are an advanced user, you can choose to build custom commands to enter your own specific recording settings.
- Once you have captured the activity you wanted to test, go back to the Network Capture menu and select Stop Capture. A window will pop up showing where the file was saved, its size, and the number of packets captured. Select Dismiss to close it.
- Before you unplug the USB drive, select Eject USB in the menu to make sure your data is safe.
