Introduction
Amino has recently introduced Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) into Orchestrate. This adds an essential layer of security by requiring users to verify their identity through an authenticator application. With growing concern around security, this helps protect our systems and safeguard your data while strengthening the platform's resilience, ensuring a more secure and trusted experience for all users.
Prerequisites
You will need an Orchestrate account and an authenticator application of your choosing on your smartphone.
Summary
How to enable MFA on Orchestrate
To enable MFA, click on your user icon in the top right corner, followed by Multi-factor Authentication.
Once you see this screen, you will need to scan the QR code on your preferred authenticator app. Finally, paste the 6-digit code displayed on the authenticator app and press Turn ON MFA.

How to use an authenticator application
Which one to choose
There are many options when it comes to authenticator applications. If you don't already use one, there are several options available for installation. Just ensure you get a reputable one through the official application store. As an example, both Microsoft and Google have authenticator applications, so if unsure, search for one of these.
How to add Orchestrate to it
Once the authenticator application is installed, it should be a matter of pressing the plus or QR code symbol, usually located in the bottom-right corner, to add Orchestrate. This is done automatically once the QR code is scanned.
Finally, as mentioned above, paste the 6-digit code displayed on the authenticator application into Orchestrate and press Turn ON MFA.
If further assistance is required, please do not hesitate to contact Amino.
