Introduction

The purpose of this article is to guide how to install the Appspace Android app on the H-series media player.

Prerequisites

Own an Amino H-Series media player.

Possess a USB flash drive or micro SD card to be used as device storage preformatted in FAT32.

H-Series firmware must be 25.6.2420.5R or above.

Understand the basic configuration with Amino Orchestrate.

Orchestrate

To install the Appspace using Amino Orchestrate, follow the steps below:

Go to the Configurations section in the left menu.
Select the group configuration where you want to add the app.
Click the “Applications” tab at the top of the configuration panel.
Click on the “Add Action” button under the "Application" section.
Select the "Appspace" application
Choose the desired action (e.g., Install, Uninstall).
After adding the app, click “Save Changes” in the bottom-right corner.

Note: If you don't find your preferred Appspace application from the list, please contact Amino to publish it into your domain.

Auto-Launch Appspace on start-up

It is possible to configure an application as the main application that a device will auto-launch when it boots.

To use this feature, the Home app parameter must be set with the Appspace app ID.

Go to the Parameters tab in the configuration.
Under Application Settings, locate the Home App dropdown.
From the list, select the Appspace app (the relevant app ID).
Important: The app must already be added to the group under the Applications tab.
If it's not added yet, go to the Applications tab, click Add Action, and add the Appspace app first.
After setting the Home App, click Save Changes to apply the configuration.

Note: All media player devices that are assigned to this group will have the Appspace application remotely installed, and it will auto-start on bootup.
