Introduction
When there is a need for using the Amino infrared remote and, for some reason, the AminoVU device is not on its line of sight, the most common scenario is to use an infrared remote extender.
This consists of a long, 3-meter cable, with a receiver in one end and a 3.5mm jack on the other. If you chose to use the Amino developed one, we ensure a smooth plug-and-play functionality.
Please consider that not all AminoVU device models have support for an IR extender. Please check the supported models' table bellow.
What we offer
Amino has developed an IR extender that is fully compatible with our STB's.
Should you be interested, please contact your designated account manager for more information. We would be happy to provide you with a sample, should it be needed.

3rd party IR remote extenders
We do not provide support for 3rd party IR extender.
If you chose to use them, we cannot be held responsible for any possible incompatibility.
