Introduction
This article aims to help you set your media player's automatic start-up for different use cases.
Prerequisites
This article assumes that the basic setup of the devices has been completed and the device is configured to use Orchestrate, USB, or DHCP to receive any necessary configuration settings.
The article also assumes that the 25.6.2411.1R firmware is installed and that you understand the use of Amino INI configuration settings so you can edit and apply INI configuration parameters to your media player.
Summary
Welcome Screen
From the 25.6.2411.1R firmware, and onwards, the Welcome Screen will always be displayed if the parameter Home App is not defined.
Use cases
Channel Zapper
To automatically launch the Channel Zapper when the device boots, follow these steps in the Orchestrate portal:
1-Set the Home App
In the Configurations > Parameters tab:
Find Application Settings.
Set Home App to:
Home App=zapper2-Choose How to Provide the Lineup
Option A: Upload a Local JSON File
Use the Channel Zapper Lineup box:
Drag and drop your
.jsonfile, or click browse to select it.Click Save Changes.
Option B: Use a Hosted JSON URL
Use the parameter field:
Application
To auto-start any application upon boot, please set the following parameter:
Home App=<paste app's ID here>To find the app ID in Orchestrate, navigate to the Applications section, select the desired application, and look for the app ID listed beneath the application details
Alternatively, you can use the remote control by pressing the Menu button, System, Application Management:

Reboot the media player for the changes to take effect.
